Movie-like view in Cuban nature during the road trip between Varadero and Trinidad. How beautiful to see all the green nature, the mountains and the blue skies around me! I really feel like I am dreaming in a movie!

Citylife & nature connected through one little street. Turning my head to the left I see the cute artsy little shops, the people drinking coffee in the street, the happy talks and smiles. Turning straightforward it is infinity, the ocean, the mountains and beyond. Beautiful to see the interconnectivity of it all!

- Let's meet -

Thanks for visiting! My name is Cynthia and I am traveling through South-East Asia at the moment for 4 months straight. I'd like to think of traveling and exploring as a way to discover your true home over and over again. My mission is to discover something new every day. A new street I haven’t walked in, an amazing artist I hear for the first time or an interesting conversation I didn’t expect. On this website you will find my discoveries from all over the world. This could vary from a cute little restaurant in Amsterdam to the beautiful street art in Berlin or the most amazing beach in Cape Town. From the small romantic streets in the South of Italy to the night view from a rooftop bar in Thailand. The next months I will be focusing on Asia and all the things I discover here. I love the excitement of finding places that give me a feeling of being on top of the world! Thanks again for visiting!!

Or so I thought 😉 Multiple goals and things to focus on in my mind, that I definitely will and shall practice during this trip. Thoughts go to abandoned beaches, early morning sunsets and just little pieces of paradise. Mainly, […]

The South coast of Iceland is filled with amazing landscapes The Ring Road, the main road in Iceland, leads you around the country while passing different things every corner you take. Refreshing waterfalls (some more hidden then others), volcanic landscapes, steaming natural hot baths and icy glaciers. And that’s just a small taste of everything […]

Last month I was lucky enough to visit Iceland The country where the population in the whole place is less than the population of Amsterdam, where every hour on the road a new natural miracle shows itself, where I can wear a scarf, a hat and sunglasses at the same time.. My first day it […]

When we are talking clear water, blue skies and warm summer weather… the South of Italy is a perfect place to go to. And then I didn’t even mention the amazing food (sea food, extra virgin olive oil) and drinks yet! In summer, the beach of Giovinazzo is the perfect place to cool off and […]

When the sun shines I love sitting next to the water! Even without feeling it, it just gives such a relaxing and free feeling just looking at it. Take the (free!) ferry from Amsterdam Centraal to NDSM werf, walk 1 min and there you are. In a world full of happiness, friends, nice drinks and […]

In October 2014 the biggest Market Hall of Europe was opened by Queen Maxima in the portal city of the Netherlands, Rotterdam. Walking in you find yourself in a jungle of different cuisines, with its’ different flavors and colors. With the high ceilings (40m) you almost feel like you are in a big open-air market, […]
